When Steve Misencik and his family take vacations, they prefer to do so via cruise ships. Cruising is a travel method that he has used for many years, and one that he has become quite knowledgeable in. Living in the Dallas area, he is not far from the ports at Galveston, which offer a number of cruise lines, ships, and destinations. Here are the top cruise ships on the seas today.
- The Disney Fantasy by Disney Cruises is arguably one of the best rated cruise ships on the market. This large ship sails from Port Canaveral in Florida, near Orlando and the home of Disney World. Common ports of call while enjoying this ship include George Town, Grand Cayman, and Tortola in the British Virgin Islands. For an added treat, the Disney Fantasy also makes port at Castaway Cay, Disney's own private island. This ship is ideally suited for singles, couples, families, and group cruisers.
- The Oasis of the Seas cruise ship by the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line travels everywhere from the Caribbean to the state of Alaska. With ports of call in Nassau, Bahamas, Falmouth, Jamaica, and Cozumel, Mexico, cruisers are offered many tropical respites. Other common destinations include St. Maarten, St. Thomas, and the private Royal Caribbean island of Labadee in the Caribbean. The Oasis of the Seas offers plenty of attractions and amenities for the young and young at heart. The Alaskan cruises are especially worthwhile in the winter months. Steve Misencik and his family would love to take a trip on this cruise ship one day.
